The results have been tabulated, and 12 Ozarks companies will be recognized by Springfield Business Journal in March as the fastest-growing companies in the region.
Bob Helm and his team at certified public accounting firm Elliott, Robinson & Co. chose the honorees from among nearly 30 applications, looking at growth-related criteria.
Eligible companies must have posted at least $500,000 in revenues for each of the last three years. Also considered was percentage growth in revenues between 2007 and 2008.
The 2009 Dynamic Dozen companies, in alphabetical order, are: BKD LLP; Citizens Memorial Healthcare; CoxHealth; Duck Creek Technologies; Dynatek Laboratories Inc.; Healthcarefirst Inc.; Incredible Pizza Co.; MaMa Jean's Natural Foods Market LLC; Midwest Metro Foreclosures Inc.; O'Reilly Auto Parts Inc.; Queen City Roofing & Contracting Co.; and Russell Cellular Inc.
The Dynamic Dozen will be recognized at a March 5 event at Doubletree Hotel, 2431 N. Glenstone Ave. During the event, the ranked listing of the fastest-growing companies will be announced, counting down to the No. 1 company.
A new Springfield Business Journal publication, PowerSource, also will be unveiled during the event. PowerSource, which replaces the annual printed Book of Lists, is a directory of more than 1,400 businesses, each of which responded to requests for information for the ranked lists published weekly in SBJ. The expanded directory includes all companies that responded, regardless of whether they made the ranked listings.
Each Dynamic Dozen ticket - available for $28 at the link below - includes a copy of Power Source, which has a cover price of $25.
