Golfer Dylan Wu's first professional win came during the Price Cutter Charity Championship at Highland Springs Country Club.
Wu earned $108,000 for the win, according to a news release. The PGA-sanctioned Korn Ferry Tour event held July 22-25 had a total purse of $600,000.
Wu finished above No. 2 player Taylor Moore and Taylor Dickson in the third-place spot.
For Wu, it's another success in a city called Springfield. He first played in the Korn Ferry Tour two years ago and scored a runner-up finish in Springfield, Illinois, according to the release.
"Something about Springfields are great," Wu said in the release. “Luckily there's a lot of them, probably the most named city in the country."
Last year's PCCC winner, Max McGreevy, tied at 19th.
Proceeds of the event will go toward children's charities in the Ozarks. Last year, PCCC officials issued 48 nonprofits a total of $830,000, a drop from $952,000 given to 49 charities in 2019, according to past reporting.
