DuPont reshuffles executive ranks ahead of merger

Ahead of its merger with Dow Chemical Co. and planned three-way split, DuPont Co. is reshuffling its executive ranks.

DuPont announced Executive Vice President James Borel, leader of the company's agricultural segment, and Gary Spitzer, senior vice president for integrated operations and engineering, will retire after more than 30 years with the company.

Effective Jan. 1, Executive Vice President James Collins Jr. will take over the agricultural segment and Senior Vice President Marc Doyle will become executive vice president.

Richard Olson, senior vice president for corporate services, and Senior Vice President Douglas Muzyka will take on added responsibilities.

The combined firm is expected to have $90 billion in total revenue.
