Drury SIFE team heads to regional competition

Posted online
Drury University’s Students in Free Enterprise will compete in a SIFE regional competition on Monday in hopes of securing a spot at the national event in May.

The team will travel to Minneapolis to present nine of the 39 projects it has conducted this year. Notable projects include Avenue 33, a consignment store, and B-Cubed, a financial literacy program designed for elementary school through high school students.

This is the 10th year that Drury’s SIFE team will compete at the regional level. The team won the national and world titles in 2001 and 2003 and took the national title and was the world runner-up in 2005.

Students in Free Enterprise will hold 17 regional competitions nationwide. Winning teams from each competition will be invited to the national event in May in Dallas.[[In-content Ad]]
