Drury Science Center
Located on Chestnut Expressway between Washington and Benton avenues, the new Drury Science Center will offer 78,000 square feet of floor space on three levels. The first and second floors will include about 20 classroom laboratories and faculty offices will be clustered near a central atrium. A greenhouse and astronomical observatory also are included. The construction cost of the project, overseen by construction administrator Oke Thomas & Associates and general contractor Flintco Constructive Solutions, is $13.8 million while the total project cost will be about $18.9 million. The project is funded entirely by private donations.
