Bill Noblitt began in the position April 9.
Noblitt has more than 30 years of experience in university communications, serving most recently as executive director of university relations at Auburn University-Montgomery in Alabama. He also has worked at Loyola University-Chicago, Xavier University in Cincinnati, Rice University in Houston and Washington University in St. Louis.
“I came to Drury because of its close community feeling,” Noblitt said in a news release. “I flourish in that kind of environment. Plus, its excellent reputation was a draw as well.”
Noblitt replaces Tristan Davies, who left the position in December to serve as associate director of communications for science in the Office of Alumni Affairs and Development at Harvard University. Holly Guerreiro, Drury’s assistant director of marketing, filled the position in the interim.
