The presidential search committee comprises eight Drury trustees, five faculty members and one student. They are:
• Trustee William “Rick” Lester, of Colorado Springs, Colo., who is CEO and founder of Resource Group for the Arts, a performing arts management and consulting firm, is the committee’s chair;
• Trustee Jane Brite, of New York City, who is executive vice president and managing partner of communications firm Young & Rubicam Inc.;
• Trustee Lynn Chipperfield, of St. Louis, who is senior vice president and chief administrative officer of Furniture Brands International;
• Trustee Tom McAlear, of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., who owns McAlear Management Group LLC and a Texas auto dealership;
• Trustee Mary Jane Pool, of New York City, who is an author and lecturer and former editor-in-chief of House & Garden magazine;
• Trustee Lyle Reed, of Frisco, Texas, who is principal of Bois D’Arc Partners, an investment firm;
• Trustee Terry Lynn Reynolds, of Springfield, who is owner, partner and manager of the C. Arch Bay Co. and C. Arch Bay Real Estate Co.;
• Trustee Jack Stack, of Springfield, who is president and CEO of SRC Holdings Corp., a Springfield remanufacturing corporation;
• Associate chemistry professor Ken High;
• Assistant history professor Leah Blakey;
• Associate communication professor Rick Maxon;
• Associate psychology professor and Department of Behavioral Sciences chair Vickie Luttrell;
• Associate Dean of International Programs Michael Thomas; and
• Student T. Weston Kissee, a member of the Drury Student Government Association.
While the committee seeks Sellars’ replacement, Drury alumnus and veteran Springfield businessman Todd Parnell will fill the role on an interim basis. Also effective June 1 is Parnell’s position as executive director of the school’s new Edward Jones Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.[[In-content Ad]]
