Drury introduces fast-track MBA program

Posted online
For local professionals looking to further their education, Drury University will begin offering a fast-track Master of Business Administration degree in the fall.

The degree is designed to be completed in one year. It includes 10 courses taught by Drury faculty that focus on leadership, strategic thought, teamwork and intercultural competence, as well as a mentorship program, according to a news release.

"We've seen an enormous increase in demand for our MBA program, and we want to do what we can to serve this demand for individuals in the Springfield community," Drury MBA Director John Taylor said in the release.

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and will be evaluated on criteria that include grade point average, standardized test scores and letters of recommendation. Students who haven't completed the prerequisite business courses as undergraduates can do so in a month-long summer boot camp.[[In-content Ad]]
