Drury University selected its second dean of the Breech School of Business Administration in as many years.
Jin Wang will join the private liberal arts college later this summer, according to a news release.
He succeeds Robin Sronce, the business school’s two-year leader who started July 5 as dean of Southern Arkansas University’s David F. Rankin College of Business. The Drury news release did not mention Sronce, but according to SAU, she led the Springfield college through its Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business accreditation renewal and the creation of new programs, including an undergraduate international business degree.
Wang most recently worked as dean of the College of Business and Economics at the American University in Kuwait and has past experience in executive roles at the Gore School of Business at Westminster College in Utah, University of Tampa, Rowan University, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Eureka College, according to the release.
“He is committed to both business education and liberal arts education,” Drury Provost Beth Harville said in the release.
