Drury contracts with TP Dapp and Associates

Posted online
Drury University officials will work with Springfield-based TP Dapp and Associates to develop a business and operating plan for the newly created Edward Jones Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

According to a news release, TP Dapp owner Thomas Dapp is responsible for developing a budget, performing a financial analysis and completing market research for the school’s center, which will offer a Master of Business Administration and other executive education programs beginning in fall 2007.

Drury announced its intent to develop the center Nov. 13, after receiving a $2 million gift from St. Louis-based Edward Jones and Edward Jones principal John Beuerlein. Beuerlein also is chair of the Drury University Board of Trustees.

The vision for the center has been led by a task force that includes local businesspeople Larry O’Reilly, Patti Penny, Robert Plaster and Jack Stack.

Missouri State University also recently launched an entrepreneur-focused degree program – a Bachelor of Science in entrepreneurship to begin in fall 2007.[[In-content Ad]]
