Drury climbs Midwest college rankings

Drury University is the ninth best regional university in the Midwest in terms of academic quality, according to a U.S. News & World Report list released today.

The report’s 2007 college rankings place Drury at its highest position ever on the regional university list, as well as on the Great Schools, Great Prices in the Midwest list, where Drury placed No. 3.

The private school climbed one spot in both categories from last year.

Springfield makes a second appearance on the best regional schools for academic quality list – Missouri State University ranked No. 59.

Schools are ranked based on their academic quality, which is based on peer assessment, retention, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, graduation rate performance and alumni giving rate.[[In-content Ad]]
