Next month, the Drury University Breech School of Business Administration will induct two into its Hall of Fame for contributions to the college.
Businessman David Gohn and professor Bill Rohlf are slated to be honored April 23 at the school’s Findlay Student Center Ballroom.
A 1965 Drury graduate of economics, Gohn is chairman and CEO of West Plains Bank and Trust Co., an organization with six branches in the Ozarks and over $340 million in assets, according to its
website.
The 52-year community banking leader served on the Drury Board of Trustees 1988-2009, including a stint as chairman, according to
Drury.edu/business.
After earning his Ph.D. in economics a the University of Kansas in 1972, Rohlf joined the Drury staff.
He teaches economics for the Breech School of Business Administration, and his efforts have earned him honors including the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching, the Alumni Association Distinguished Faculty Award and the Burlington Northern Outstanding Faculty Member Award. His textbook, “
Introduction to Economic Reasoning,” is published by Prentice Hall.
Gohn and Rohlf join the ranks of past inductees including Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris, O’Reilly Automotive Inc. executives David and Larry O’Reilly and Ernest R. Breech, former chairman of the board and CEO of Ford Motor Co.
