An existing Drury University staffer has been promoted following a national search for an executive role left vacant last year.
Melanie Earl-Replogle is the university's new executive vice president for advancement, according to a news release. Her LinkedIn profile indicates she started in the position this month after previously serving as Drury's associate vice president of advancement.
"I am honored to step into this role to lead our advancement team and continue building on Drury’s legacy of philanthropy and donor engagement,” Earl-Replogle said in the release. “Drury has a strong tradition of excellence, and I look forward to working with our advancement team, campus, alumni, donors and community partners to ensure continued growth and success for our students and community."
In the EVP role, Earl-Replogle leads all aspects of Drury's advancement efforts, including the school's $50 million capital campaign called Fortify the Future.
A Drury alum, Earl-Replogle has been employed at the university since 2018, and she previously worked for more than 17 years at Missouri State University, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Earl-Replogle succeeds Marie Muhvic, who exited early last year for a similar job at Southwestern University in Texas, said Kevin Kropf, Drury's executive vice president of enrollment management, marketing and communications.
There were more than 50 applicants during the national search for Muhvic’s successor, Kropf said.
