Sales of popular Dr. Seuss titles have jumped this week after the estate managing the late author's portfolio discontinued six books.
Books such as "The Cat in The Hat" and "Oh, The Places You'll Go" made up nine of both Amazon's and Barnes and Noble's top 10 best-seller lists yesterday.
The six discontinued books, including “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street” and “If I Ran the Zoo,” are no longer available for purchase.
Dr. Seuss Enterprises, which preserves and protects the author’s legacy, announced it would cease sales of the books due to racist and insensitive imagery.
