Springfield author and speaker Jennifer Rothschild will be featured on an episode of the Dr. Phil talk show Wednesday and will follow that with a segment on The Billy Graham TV Special next week.
On the previously taped show, Rothschild, who is blind, gives advice on the Dr. Phil show to parents who are raising blind and deaf triplets. The show’s studio audience then receives free copies of Rothschild’s book, “Lessons I Learned in the Dark.”
The book was featured last fall on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” causing it to rise to No. 380 from No. 68,000 on Amazon.com rankings.
The Dr. Phil show airs at 3 p.m. on KY3 and at 10 p.m. on CW15. An estimated 7 million to 10 million viewers watch the show.
During the week of March 3–11, Rothschild will be the subject of a five-minute feature story on The Billy Graham TV Special, a magazine-format show. That segment, about Rothschild's experience losing her eyesight at age 15, will air at 7 p.m. on KSPR33, KY3, KOLR10 and FOX27.
