A magnitude 6.2 earthquake hit Indonesia’s Sulawesi island, killing at least 34 people.
Striking after midnight Friday, the quake resulted in collapsed buildings, a severed bridge and flattened houses. Part of a hospital also reportedly was damaged.
More than 600 people were injured in addition to those killed.
