Downtown Little Rock Marriott to undergo $16M renovation

The 418-room Marriott hotel in downtown Little Rock, Ark., is slated to receive a $16 million renovation.

The plans call for remodeling all guest rooms and public meeting and dining spaces, and the hotel will stay open during renovations. The project is slated for completion this summer, according to Arkansas Business.

The hotel, which is linked to the 200,000-square-foot Statehouse Convention Center, was rebranded the Little Rock Marriott in May from the Peabody Little Rock after Fairwood Capital LLC of Memphis, Tenn., bought the lease from the Peabody Hotel Group.
