The merger of global material giants Dow Chemical and DuPont has been finalized nearly two years after it aws announced.
The deal valued at $62 billion creates DowDuPont. The companies announced they would tie up in December 2015.
Within 18 months, DowDuPont plans to split itself into an agricultural products manufacturer, a materials science company and a specialty components maker.
