Her career also has included roles as executive officer for the local HBA, vice president of membership development for the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce and executive director of the Ozark Area Chamber of Commerce.
"With a primary focus on Biz 417, Dori provides comprehensive support, emphasizing magazine production and issue planning and will lead strategic initiatives for us," Aguirre said via email.
Biz 417, the business publication operated by 417 Magazine, launched in 2016, according to past reporting. Lucie Amberg, who continues to freelance for 417 Magazine, previously served as Biz 417 editor, said Aguirre. She noted the managing editor and business editor role was designed for Grinder.
"Dori is a natural leader who will offer vital support in team development and foster a collaborative work environment under the guidance of our editorial director, Katie Pollock Estes," Aguirre said. "Her dedication to excellence and unwavering commitment to our community make her an invaluable asset to our team."
Aguirre said 417 Magazine has 25 employees.
