Millions of dollars worth of donations are going to the families of people killed in the Atlanta-area shootings.
One online fundraising campaign, launched by Randy Park with a $20,000 goal to cover funeral expenses, had raised roughly $3 million as of yesterday.
“I’ve never had a good understanding how much money was worth, but every cent of it will be used only in pure necessity,” said Park, song of Hyun Jung Grant, one of the eight people killed in the attacks on massage businesses.
The Associated Press reports a central fund to aid families of the victims has not yet been created.
