Domino’s is introducing to customers its first new menu item since 2012, and it’s a doozy.
Named “Specialty Chicken,” Domino’s traded a traditional pizza crust for 12 bite-size pieces of breaded white-meat chicken topped with meats, cheeses, vegetables and sauce.
The new item comes in four flavor options: spicy-jalepeno pineapple, crispy bacon and tomato, classic hot buffalo and sweet barbecue bacon.
Debuting on the value menu, specialty chicken becomes available for purchase on Wednesday. The last new menu item for the pizza chain – handmade pan pizza – was introduced two years ago.
