Dollar Tree Inc. reported quarterly same-store sales during the holidays that missed analysts' forecasts.
Sales at established stores rose 2.4 percent. Analysts were looking for a 2.7 percent increase.
The company's net income rose to $1.04 billion from $321.8 million a year earlier. Net sales climbed to $6.4 billion from $5.6 billion.
