Dollar Tree is raising prices for more of its items above $1.
Company officials cited rising shipping costs that would result in a hit of $1.50 to $1.60 to its per-share profits this year.
The company already had begun testing higher prices for several hundred of its roughly 8,000 locations in a section of the stores called Dollar Tree Plus.
