Does anybody want to buy Sprint?

In recent weeks, Softbank Group – the parent company of Overland Park, Kan.-based Sprint Corp. – has committed to the wireless carrier via its CEO Masayoshi Son. Son has said he doesn’t want to sell the struggling company.

However, according to the Wall Street Journal, the CEO had been shopping Sprint during the past year, only to find no buyers.

Both Comcast Corp. and Altice SA were approached, according to WSJ, but neither company was interested. Now Son and Softbank are stuck with investing more money into enhancing Sprint’s network.
