The Missouri Division of Tourism is asking Missourians to plan their ideal vacations in the state, and one lucky winner will receive his or her submitted trip. According to a news release from the Missouri Tourism News Bureau, the contest is called "Adventures by the Mile," and submitted trip entries must be received by May 28. Trip submissions should not exceed $3,000 in value. Entries can be submitted at www.vis itmo.com/springpromo.
Judges will award the trip for the entry that they feel best represents the ultimate Missouri vacation, based on creativity and fun.
"Adventures by the Mile" is part of the Division of Tourism's new advertising campaign that highlights Missouri's available vacation experiences, from golfing at Lake of the Ozarks to relaxing at a bed and breakfast or floating down one of the state's rivers. The campaign began in March as a way to invite consumers to relive the classic family vacation through the special places the Show-Me State has to offer.
"With a diverse array of entertainment, outdoor and cultural activities, Missouri offers a vacation experience to satisfy nearly everyone's taste," said John Robinson, director of the Missouri Division of Tourism, in the release. "This promotion encourages consumers to build the Missouri vacation that's right for them and possibly win it."
