Springfield's newest medical marijuana dispensary is open for business.
The Terrabis shop at 850 E. Kearney St. operates as a drive-thru dispensary, according to a news release. Today is opening day.
“We’ve always put a premium on patient care, which is why we’ve prioritized a drive-thru design for our Springfield dispensary," Terrabis CEO Dan Ambrosino said in the release. "It allows for preorders to be available for pickup, and we see it not just as a model for convenience but as an additional opportunity to respect people’s boundaries, especially during COVID.”
Terrabis is located in a former automotive shop that had been marketed for sale by Jared Commercial Real Estate LLC, according to a listing on LoopNet.com. The listing indicates the property spans 4,000 square feet, with bay doors to accommodate vehicles.
Records on file with the offices of the Greene County assessor and recorder show V3 Kearney LLC purchased the property early last year from Spears Enterprises LLC. V3 MO Vending 5 LLC is the licensee for the Springfield dispensary, according to the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services. V3 received one of the 24 licenses issued last year in southwest Missouri’ 7th Congressional District.
Terrabis additionally operates dispensaries in Creve Coeur, Hazelwood and O'Fallon, according to its website. The release indicates a shop in Kansas City is slated to open next month.
