Walt Disney Co. announced it would outsource its physical media business to Sony.
Under the deal, Sony Entertainment will market, sell and distribute new DVDs, Blu-ray discs and other physical media from Disney.
Elsewhere in the industry, Best Buy recently announced it would stop selling DVDs and Blu-ray discs in-store.
