Theme parks are back, and that's good news for Disney, which last week reported better-than-expected earnings and a return to revenue growth for the first time in five quarters.
The company brought in $17 billion in sales, up 45% from same period last year and a bit higher than Wall Streets’ expectation of $16.8 billion.
Disney reported earnings of $995 million in the third quarter, a significant improvement from the $4.8 billion loss posted this time last year. Additionally, Disney+ grew to 116 million subscribers in the most recent quarter, exceeding the 112 million subscribers Wall Street analysts expected.
