Disney donates $1M from 'Black Panther'

Disney is donating a portion of box office proceeds gathered by its new film, "Black Panther."

The company announced it would donate $1 million to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America for the organization's youth STEM programs.

"It's fitting that we show our appreciation by helping advance STEM programs for youth, especially in underserved areas of the country, to give them the knowledge and tools to build the future they want," Disney CEO Bob Iger said.
