Disney buys stake in video-streaming service

The Walt Disney Co. yesterday announced it's buying a stake in BAMTech, a video-streaming company created by Major League Baseball.

The purchase is said to be a step toward securing the digital future of ESPN.

Disney officials said the company would spend $1 billion for a 33 percent stake in BAMTech.
