James Gorman, executive chair of Morgan Stanley, has been appointed as chair of the search committee for Disney's new CEO.
Gorman joined the Disney board earlier this year and previously oversaw the succession process at Morgan Stanley.
At Disney, CEO Bob Iger's contract runs through the end of 2026.
