Disney and cable operator Altice USA reached a tentative programming deal.
The agreement keeps ESPN, ABC and other channels from going dark on Altice's Optimum cable service.
"We have reached an agreement in principle and have extended the deadline accordingly to try and finalize the terms," a joint statement from the companies said.
