Dish posts surprise addition of pay-TV subscribers

U.S. satellite TV provider Dish Network Corp. unexpectedly added pay-TV subscribers in the fourth quarter.
Dish added 28,000 subscribers, including at its satellite TV and Sling TV streaming services. Analysts expected the company to lose 87,000 subscribers.
Dish posted net income of $343 million, up from a loss of $125 million a year earlier.
Moseley’s Discount Office Products was purchased; Side Chick opened in Branson; and the Springfield franchise store of NoBaked Cookie Dough changed ownership.
