Disability Visibility Project founder dies at 51

Disability Visibility Project founder Alice Wong died Nov. 14. She was 51.

Wong died of an infection, according to USA Today.

Born with spinal muscular dystrophy, a rare genetic condition, Wong was known, in part, for her 2022 memoir "Year of the Tiger: An Activist’s Life."
