Director of national intelligence to step down

Dan Coats, director of national intelligence, will step down on Aug. 15, President Donald Trump tweeted.

Rep. John Ratcliffe, R-Texas, will be nominated by Trump to replace Coats.

Coats reportedly has been at odds with Trump during his entire tenure.
