Dick’s Sporting Goods profits drop 10%

Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. today reported a 10 percent dip in first-quarter profits.

The company posted earnings of $56.9 million, down from $63.3 million a year earlier.

Revenue climbed 6.1 percent to $1.7 billion.
