DeVos freezes Obama-era rules

The Department of Education is halting two Obama-era rules.

Set to take effect July 1, the rules would have protected student borrowers and held for-profit colleges accountable.

"It's time to take a step back and make sure these rules achieve their purpose: helping harmed students," Education Secretary Betsy DeVos said in a statement.
