Kansas City planning staff reportedly is reviewing an eight-phase master development plan for more than 800 acres in the city.
Over the coming decades, the plan calls for 1,872 new housing units and about 1.1 million square feet of commercial, office and retail space.
The Kansas City Business Journal reports Atrium Hospitality is listed as owner and developer. Atrium is a subsidiary of JD Holdings LLC, which took over Springfield hotelier John Q. Hammons’ bankrupt estate in 2018.
