Developers to buy Bayer campus, convert it into mixed-use project

A St. Louis-area development team is planning to buy Bayer's western campus and transform it into a mixed-use project.

“Our plans are for a large mixed-use development that will create the town center Creve Coeur does not currently have,” said Michael Hamburg, owner of Pier Property Group. “We hope to provide a shopping, entertainment, work and live environment that will help anchor this community for the future.”

Pier Property Group is partnering with Fireside Financial on the development on 95 acres.
