Developers plan 170,000-SF retail center in Little Rock suburb

Posted online
Developers are planning a 170,000-square-foot retail center along Interstate 30 in Benton, Ark., a suburb of Little Rock.

Dubbed the Shoppes at Benton, construction on the roughly 20-store complex is expected to begin in March and take about a year.

Being built on 23 acres by Brentwood, Tenn.-based developer GBT Realty, the complex is expected to include 975 parking spaces. More than 40,000 households are within a 10-mile radius of the project site.

No stores have been confirmed, according to Arkansas Business, but Hobby Lobby, Home Goods and TJ Maxx have been floated as possible tenants.
