Developer CRG Cumulus has pulled its application for a data center in St. Charles amid pushback from residents.
The data center had been proposed for a 440-acre site and was slated to be used by an undisclosed Fortune 100 company.
St. Charles residents attended public meetings in opposition of the data center, with concerns including energy use and its impact on water quality.
