Dethroned Miss Florida USA files $15M suit

Genesis Davila, who was stripped of her crown as Miss Florida USA, has filed a $15 million defamation lawsuit. She also wants her crown back.

Davila had her crown taken away six days after the July pageant because she purportedly received professional hair and makeup help, a supposed no-no under contest rules.

The evidence was an Instagram post.

However, her attorney claims pageant boss Grant Gravitt Jr. cropped out the date on the post, which they say was actually a week prior to the contest.
