The Amtrak train that derailed near Seattle Monday and landed on Interstate 5 was traveling 80 mph in a 30 mph zone, according to the National Transportation Safety Board.
The crash left three people dead, according to CNBC.
In a statement, Amtrak officials said the train was carrying 80 passengers, five crew members and one technician.
