Denver, Chicago storms could cancel Springfield flights

Posted online
Snow and freezing rain predicted for Saturday in Denver and Chicago could have an effect on Springfield flights.

United Airlines says it will likely cancel at least 25 percent of its Denver and Chicago flights out of Springfield-Branson National Airport and systemwide tomorrow, according to airport spokesman Kent Boyd. To check a flight’s status before coming to the airport, call (800) 241-6522 or visit www.united.com.

American Airlines has not said whether it will cancel its Springfield-to-Chicago flights, but Boyd recommends passengers check their flight status before heading to the airport. To check American flights, call (800) 443-7300 or go to www.aa.com.[[In-content Ad]]
