Denmark to introduce world's first carbon tax on livestock

Denmark plans to introduce the world's first carbon emissions tax on agriculture.

An annual tax of $96 per cow is expected to impact dairy farmers starting in 2030.

The country also intends to invest $3.7 billion on efforts such as reforestation and establishing wetlands.

Milk, cheese go up because of the tax, that's inflation. Farmers are not going to absorb the costs, they will just pass on the love'n.
