Democratic presidential candidates spent a large amount of time discussing plans to reform the U.S. health care system during the second round of debates.
According to Fox Business, candidates avoided questions on how they would pay for their health care proposals.
Asked whether middle-class families would pay more, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren said "giant corporations” and “billionaires" would foot most of the bill for a Medicare for All system.
Former Maryland congressman John Delaney criticized "impossible promises" from Warren and Sen. Bernie Sanders, saying they would help President Donald Trump get re-elected.
