Delta Air Lines announced it has 1,000 flight attendant jobs available.
"We'll be looking for top talent as we welcome 1,000 new members to the Delta family," said Allison Ausband, Delta senior vice president.
More than 270,000 people last year applied for about 1,700 flight attendant jobs at Delta.

Under construction beside the existing Republic branch of the Springfield-Greene County Library District – which remains in operation throughout the project – is a new building that will double the size of the original, according to library officials.
