Delta Air Lines reported first-quarter net income of $547 million, or 77 cents per share, down from $561 million, or 77 cents per share, a year earlier.
On an adjusted basis, share earnings were 74 cents, a cent above analysts' expectations.
The company's first-quarter revenue of $9.76 billion missed predictions of $9.85 billion.
