Delta, American Airlines move to stop carrying big game trophies

Delta and American Airlines will no longer allow certain big game trophies to be hauled on their planes.

The announcements Monday follow protests over the killing of an African lion named Cecil by a Minnesota dentist.

According to CNNMoney, Delta banned the shipment of lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and buffalo trophies as freight. American Airlines quickly followed suit.
