Dell to sell IT division for $3B

Dell agreed to sell its information technology services division to Japan's NTT Data for over $3 billion.

The deal would mark one of the largest foreign buyouts in recent years for NTT Data.

The buyout would mean needed capital for Dell, which is in the process of purchasing storage vendor EMC Corp. for tens of billions of dollars.
